Ölmez Madencilik | Honorary President

Our Valued Stakeholders

As the natural resources company of the Ölmez Group, Ölmez Madencilik, we have reached an important stage of the journey we started in 2006. In the new breakthrough process that began in 2024, we have two major fundamental goals:

To become the reference company of our sector in Türkiye and, together with our growth strategy, to evolve into a firm operating on a global scale… We direct all our efforts towards this goal. At the very beginning of 2025, we increased our number of employees by XXX times and our production by XXX percent. We are also excited to welcome some of Türkiye’s leading engineers and managers into our team.

By producing two essential minerals—lead and zinc, which are critical for technological advancement and industrial progress—in the form of concentrated ore, we make tangible contributions to people’s lives. Using the latest technological equipment, we have largely transitioned from semi-mechanized mining to fully mechanized mining, and we continue to move in this direction. Throughout all these developments, we never compromise on occupational health and safety or environmental issues. We are fully aware of our responsibility to our region, our geography, and our country.

Within our company, we prioritize employing our fellow citizens from Hakkari. Regardless of technological innovations, we know that our greatest value is our employees. They are the strongest foundation for achieving our goals.

As Ölmez Group, we have made all our investments in this geography and will continue to do so. We know that being the largest company in Hakkari alone is not enough. We have set our vision as “to become Türkiye’s leading mining company,” and our next target is even greater: to become a global player in the mining industry. We have defined our company motto as “The Pride of Hakkari” within this framework, and I wholeheartedly believe that we will achieve this goal.
